Located in the heart of Lyon, the Bullukian Foundation art center is one of the symbols of the general interest project carried out by the foundation in terms of support for contemporary creation and access to art to all public.
Creative, accessible, and welcoming, the art center defends a singular approach to art, by promoting the emergence of new and plural forms, favorable to a culture in motion.
With this ambition, the art center reopened its doors to the public at the end of 2019 after major enlargement and renovation work, thus passing from a 90 m2 gallery to a vast, plural, and modular space of 1,500 m2.
Today, the art center hosts an ambitious program of temporary exhibitions and offers meetings and debates with artists, projections, or music concerts with an intimate atmosphere, as well as many educational activities.
With this desire to make culture ever more accessible, we also offer, for each of our exhibitions, free guided tours (every Saturday at 4 p.m. in French) as well as events made and adapted for children through constantly renewed creative activities, for fun discoveries of artworks with families (Bullu’kids workshops).
